Returns & Exchanges Policy
Welcome to www.unmadesleepwear.com. The conditions below apply to all returns, exchanges and refund requests made through our website.
1. Right of withdrawal (14 days)
Where applicable under local consumer law, you have a 14-day period from the date you receive your order to exercise your right of withdrawal, without having to justify your decision or pay any fees other than the return postage.
To exercise this right, please contact our customer care team via our contact form here or by email at contact@unmadesleepwear.com to receive return instructions. The return address for our warehouse will be provided once your request has been approved.
The item must be returned in its original condition:
- Unworn, unwashed and unused
- With all original tags and packaging
- Accompanied by proof of purchase (order confirmation, invoice, etc.)
Return shipping costs are always borne by the customer. Once the returned item has been received and inspected, a refund will be issued to the original payment method within a maximum of 14 days. Items that are damaged, incomplete or show signs of wear, odours or washing cannot be refunded.
2. General return conditions
To be eligible for a return or refund:
- Your item must be in perfect resale condition (no stains, no odours, no pet hair, no signs of wear).
- All original labels, tags and packaging must be included.
- The return request must be made within the deadlines indicated above.
We reserve the right to refuse any return that does not comply with these conditions.
3. Defective product or wrong item received
If you receive a defective item or an item that does not match your order (wrong size, colour or model), please contact us within 10 to 14 days of receiving your parcel.
To help us resolve the issue quickly, please send:
- Your order number
- A brief description of the problem
- Clear photos showing the defect or the incorrect item received
Once the defect or error has been confirmed by our team, we will offer one of the following solutions, at no extra cost to you:
- Sending a replacement item (same model, size and colour where possible), or
- Issuing a refund if a replacement is not available.
In most cases, no prior return will be required if the defect or error is clearly visible on the photos provided.
4. Exchanges
We understand that sometimes a size or fit might not feel quite right.
- We do not offer free returns, but we can help you with an exchange whenever possible (subject to stock availability).
- To request an exchange, please contact us before sending anything back so we can confirm availability and explain the process.
Please note that:
- Return postage is at your expense for size or preference exchanges.
- If the requested size or item is not available, we may suggest an alternative or a refund in line with our withdrawal policy.
5. Exceptions to the right of withdrawal
For hygiene and safety reasons, and in line with applicable consumer regulations, we cannot accept returns in the following cases:
- Items that have been worn, washed, heavily tried on or show visible signs of use
- Items with removed tags or missing original packaging
- Items that are stained, damaged, altered or carry strong odours (perfume, deodorant, smoke, etc.)
- Change of mind after wearing the item
- Orders with an incorrect or incomplete delivery address provided by the customer

7. How to request a return or exchange
To start a return or exchange request, please follow these steps:
- Contact our customer care team via our contact form here or by email at contact@unmadesleepwear.com.
- Provide your order number and a short explanation (withdrawal, size issue, defect, wrong item, etc.).
- Wait for our confirmation and instructions before shipping your parcel back.
- Carefully pack your items (ideally in the original parcel) and send them to the address we provide. We recommend using a tracked delivery service, as you remain responsible for the parcel until it reaches our warehouse.
